Choose a Hospital

Prepare Documents
Bring your passport, insurance card, cash/credit card, and a list of any medications you take.
Register at Reception
At the reception desk (受付/uketsuke), fill out a form with your name, date of birth, symptoms, and allergies.
Wait and Consult
Wait in the waiting room until called. The doctor will examine you and may order tests.
Pay and Get Medicine
Pay at the cashier. If prescribed medicine, take the prescription to a pharmacy (調剤薬局).
